First written update from Denmark.
Today brings me to the end of my third week of school and fourth residing here in Denmark; four weeks which have gone by with great speed and enjoyment due in part to the following reasons: the many quick acquaintances turned friends, and the constant discovery of cultural and linguistic difference, not only with regards to Danish culture and language, but among all of the countries represented among our exchange student group (I believe someone counted 15).
I will not recap what has transpired since late January when I first arrived three-hours late in Copenhagen via London with a dark and fairly uncertain trip across half of Denmark to Kolding still ahead of me that night. I will also spare details of my first few days of transition and settling in to both my flat and this ‘city’; of orientation to the school, Designskolen, and introduction to the other exchange students who have made similar journeys from other countries; of the first day and first week of class; of spilling liquid on my computer which has had repercussions of a malfunctioning mouse click; and finally, of all other the activities which have taken place in the three weeks following the events of the first as mentioned above.
For an overview since my arrival here, and of course for my most recent activities and encounters, my photos should be able to provide these details.
